First-come, first-served help replacing identification and obtaining qualifying birth certificates.
About this service
Christian Assistance Ministry provides ID-recovery assistance at its downtown campus, including help with IDs and out-of-state birth certificates on Wednesdays and Texas birth certificates Monday through Thursday.
Eligibility
Available to people who need help replacing an ID or obtaining a birth certificate. Daily capacity is limited for some requests.
What to bring
Bring any available photo identification. CAM and Close to Home list examples such as a paper copy, old ID, mug shot, work ID, or Haven for Hope ID.
Hours and access
Walk-ins welcome
No appointment is required. Service is first come, first served. Wednesday ID and out-of-state birth-certificate intake is limited to the first 15 people. Call before traveling.
