Free VIA bus passes for eligible youth and young adults with foster-care history who participate in THRU Project mentorship.
About this service
The pass supports transportation to employment, education, appointments, and other steps toward independence. It is connected to THRU Project’s mentoring and support services.
Eligibility
The person must have spent time in foster care and must be enrolled in THRU Project’s Mentorship Program. THRU Project confirms the current eligible age range and enrollment.
What to bring
Current mentorship enrollment is required. Ask THRU Project what information is needed to join; provide it directly to THRU Project, not LifePath.

Referral required
Already enrolled: ask your THRU Project mentor for a pass. Not enrolled: use the provider’s application or contact the office to ask about joining the Mentorship Program.
Cost
Free for approved program participants.
