San Antonio Ready to Work
Ready to Work Education, Training, and Employment
Coaching and funded training for eligible adults pursuing higher-paying careers.
About this service
Ready to Work creates a personalized career plan, may pay for approved GED, certificate, associate, or bachelor pathways, prepares participants for interviews, connects them to employers, and may help address barriers during training.
Eligibility
Generally age 18 or older, living within San Antonio city limits unless qualifying through a military connection, permitted to work in the United States, within the current income limit, and committed to training. Confirm current rules.
What to bring
The program requires documents to verify age, residence, work authorization, and income. A coach may help obtain missing documents. Submit them directly to the program, not LifePath.
Hours and access

Apply through the official website, call 311, or visit a partner agency. Tell the coach about barriers such as ID, transportation, phone, childcare, housing, or legal issues so they can be included in the plan.
Cost
