New clothing, shoes, accessories, and personal-care items for referred youth ages 12–21.
About this service
Youth receive a scheduled shopping experience based on their sizes and needs. Available items may include outfits, socks, underwear, bras, shoes, toiletries, accessories, and seasonal clothing.
Eligibility
Ages 12–21. An informed adult familiar with the youth’s situation must make the referral. Referrers may include school or agency staff, group homes, treatment centers, foster parents, or another informed adult. New referral applications may pause when capacity is full.
What to bring
The referring adult provides clothing and shoe sizes and the information requested on the provider’s referral form. Send it directly to San Antonio Threads, not LifePath.
Hours and access
Referral required
Ask a school counselor, case manager, foster parent, agency worker, or another informed adult to complete the official referral. Check the provider website first because new referrals can temporarily close. After acceptance, San Antonio Threads schedules the visit.
Cost
Free for referred youth.
