CSCD enforces court-ordered community-supervision conditions and connects probationers with treatment programs and community resources. The supervising officer can explain requirements and report progress, but only the sentencing court can modify conditions or end probation early.
Eligibility
People placed on adult community supervision in Bexar County. Eligibility for reduced reporting, condition changes, or early termination depends on Texas law, the judgment, completed requirements, case history, prosecutor input, and the judge’s decision.
What to bring
Keep the judgment and conditions, officer contact, reporting history, payment records, community-service hours, program certificates, testing records, employment or school progress, and proof of barriers. Give legal records only to CSCD or the attorney.
Hours and access
Walk-in or appointment
Ask the officer for a written list of every unfinished condition and the exact proof needed for completion. Report barriers before missing an appointment, payment, test, class, or service. If seeking early termination, first ask a criminal-defense attorney whether the case is legally eligible and what motion or court review is required. Do not assume the probation officer can approve release.
